Cleero was founded in 2025 in Beringen, Limburg. When Peppol e-invoicing became mandatory for Belgian businesses, founder Pieter saw that most solutions were too complex or too expensive for freelancers and small businesses.
So he built Cleero: an invoicing app that lets you send e-invoices via Peppol in 2 minutes, scan expenses with AI, connect your bank and share everything with your accountant — no technical knowledge needed, from €3 per month.
Today Cleero helps freelancers, SMEs, liberal professions and accountants across Belgium, in four languages. Peppol is included in every plan, and accountants use the platform for free.
